Great to see all of the grade school kids in attendance. Stands were full on a Saturday afternoon. Good stuff for Girl's Bball!! Monster game by Elly Ogle (22 points)!!!!

I agree with your post 100%. But sometimes emotions get the best of everyone. I hope that we can focus on the fact that this was a Great game to watch and the young ladies from these two teams left everything they had on the floor on Friday. This should not be overshadowed by the actions of coaches or fans.

Boone did dominate the boards. NDA will have to find a way to overcome the loss of Brannen. She has been a presence on the boards for the Pandas for the past 3 seasons.

Great pictures paNDA! Glad to see Moss come back to the court after going to the locker room with what appeared to be an ankle issue. She had a great shooting night (as did Voskuhl). I thought the difference in the game was Nash. Her size hurt the Pandas.

Great game! Both teams proved that they deserved their high rankings!!

The Pandas defeated a tough Valkyries team in Park Hills. The first half was pretty tight until NDA pulled ahead right before halftime. The Pandas opened up a 19 point lead halfway through the fourth quarter before Sacred Heart pulled within 12 to finish the game. A good win for a depleted Panda team. Boone Co. and NDA both will both bring 12 game winning streaks into Friday night's match. Should be an exciting game!

Brannen went down in the 1st half with a knee injury (hopefully, she will be fine). Clark has 8 stitches above her eye (will probably miss a week). Don't know the answer to the dance question.

Final from Ft. Thomas. The Lady Bluebirds really missed Abner. Hopefully, she has already started the healing process! Observations from the game: Very physical. The Pandas played very tough defense. Schaefer (Highlands) is a stud. While it's great that the Highlands boys show up to support the girls, they really need to focus their energy on cheering for their team. Kudos to the Highlands parents, staff and trainer! They showed nothing but class when the 2 Pandas were injured during the game.

Jackie Bearden could shoot as well as any player (boy or girl) that I have ever seen play. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to see Walz play.

Final from The Candy Cane Classic in London, Ky Notre Dame Academy wins the tournament with their 4th win in 4 days. The Pandas also defeated Harlan, Harlan County and South Laurel on the way to title.

Fun game to watch. The game could have gone either way. The referees did a great job tonight. I believe that the Bearcats went up by 4 to start the 4th quarter and then the Pandas responded with a "run" that put them up by 5 or 6. Both teams will continue to improve. I still think that Walton will be the team to beat in the 8th and NDA will continue to improve as the volleyball and soccer players make the transition to basketball. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way!!

Fun game to watch! The freshman guard from Ashland (sorry that I didn't get her name) is a STUD! Quick feet and knocks down the threes. Great future in front of her. As for the game, it appeared that the Pandas just wore the Kittens down.

Lakota East is tough! The Pandas will continue to improve now that soccer and volleyball is finished!
