An undefeated regular season is possible, but 9-1 or 8-2 is more likely.

  2. Yep. Throwers don't generally have the same difficulties, as extremely few are sprinters and even fewer are distance runners. But it's very tough on jumpers who have to dash off from one event to another

Agreed. Messer of Raceland was constantly on the go winning the pole vault, long jump, high jump, & the 110 High Hurdles.

  3. I don't know where you get your information but the game was never called off. The SC mess had to be cleared up first. This had to go in front of the KHSAA because SC was not only trying to cancel the game but also tried to get out of the buyout. The West game has been a verbal agreement until the SC fiasco was cleared up. To my knowledge, this just recently happened and there should be a formal contract drawn up and signed with West Portsmouth next week. We will play West Portsmouth at Home on Sept 25, 2015.

Correct....it was on the official schedule I received today.

  4. I remember many years before I came to Raceland when I first started I went with another coach to BC to borrow some football equipment from Coach Ross because we were just starting up a program again. He was very generous in giving us some equipment. I also remember his famous "Red Dawn" practice was going on (LOL), & he was coaching drills like it was the Super Bowl...good times. I also knew the family well long before this occurred. Good people.

Prayers for the family and Coach Ross.

  5. Hazard would of been a much better team if they didn't lose playmaker Austin Johnson to a torn Achilles. That Hazard and Williamsburg game was a classic. I believe if Hazard had Johnson healthy they would of been back in BG that year.

But game day is nearing and I can't wait to get the updates from the game. I also would like to know if I could listen online somewhere?
