Is Lemaster moving to the Ashland Area or just commuting back & forth from Paintsville?
-
Bottom line will be defense and the QB play for the RAMS. The defense will be solid again despite a few losses. If the QB play is solid, the RAMS will be tough to beat.

Yeah I just realized my goof. Could a moderator please fix this and move it to the Girls Basketball Page?
-
Per the (Ashland) Daily Independent....
Former assistant Ron Keeton is the new Girls Basketball Coach @ Raceland.
-
There needs to be a HOF for the other sports as well. Too many good athletes get left out. Track & Field is a prime example with a guy a Raceland who won seven state championships in four years. Baseball another example.

Ridiculous that the nation's flags aren't at half staff at the White House. As bad as not addressing the SF murder. Guess it doesn't it our president's "political" agenda.
-
I'm pretty sure they're practicing at 6 PM this week; probably until around 8:30-9 PM.
-
May never see another all-around athlete like him in RAM Nation.
-
That's what I said...THREE LOL.
-
Raceland should have (3) teams. Musketeers (2) I think, as well as Sheldon Clark. Boyd Co., Lewis Co., & Ironton will also be there. Fleming Co. Should be there on Saturday.
-
How about only counting down the week before the first scrimmage? The rest is a waste of time & space.
-
Why was he stealing it?

Raceland Girls' job is open.

Don't know about basketball but if Williams is still there the volleyball team should be the favorite.
She graduated this year (June 4).

This stuff is starting to bring stupid to another level.

State auditor's report is online in the Daily Independent (85 pages).

Good luck with that (getting $$$ for those uniforms). Both programs a Raceland raise their own money for uniforms, as well as everything else they have. For Title IX compliance, the expenditures do not have to be "dollar for dollar", but boys and girls sports have to be "comparable". This allows more money to be spent on a sport that has 90 players than a sport that has 15 players. For example, the boys track and girls track teams need new uniforms. The boys have 25 track athletes, and the girls track team has 10 track athletes. If uniforms are bought for both teams more money is spend for the boys uniforms because they have more players, but as far as Title IX goes, there is no violation because both teams received uniforms.

Good choice either way, but if that's the final two, I'd like to see him stay home so we can watch him play.

Pieced together full schedule:
8/21 H Bath County
9/4 N Lawrence County
9/11 A Madeira (Cincinnati)
9/18 H East Carter
9/25 H Lexington Christian
10/2 A Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH)
10/9 H Paintsville
10/16 A Raceland-Worthington
10/23 H Hazard
10/30 A Lewis County
Could be anywhere from 3-7 to 5-5 depending on the coaching changes at Bath Co. & Coal Grove.

So, is Kentucky a lock, or will he actually consider going out of state?
-
I talked to one of their assistant coaches this week and he said right now they only had about 15 players out for drills.
