  1. Is Baker any good this year did he improve from last year?
  2. Who do they have back as seniors this year? Are they any good?
  3. Yea almost the whole team went up. Chris Baker, Micheal Hampton, Stringfellow, Gullett a few more...
  4. I don't know about "lineman", but I have a good idea what "linemen" will be at the top in the 2011 class. Greenup County's to be sophmore linemen include Brian Grayson, Jonathon Kitchen, Jake Abrams, Cole Potter, Shelby Worthington, Zach Ratcliff if he continues to play, Saxton Falloway if he continues to play and Steven Howard. These guys are a RB's dream and a QB's best friend. To see these guys step on a field can be mind blowing, as Freshmen they had the size and skill of some varsity lines.
  5. New season, whos devolping in the 63rd will they have a stonger district this year? Whos some top players overall?
  6. They have another new coach ? Another Season how do you think Greenup will do? who do they got comming back?
  7. Thanks for the compliments Jim Thorpe.
  8. Greenup Co has 4 returning starters from last year all seniors they have a new coach. Coach Fraley. Any thoughts on how the team is going to do this upcoming season. Who are some of the kids they got comming back?
  9. Ashland might have not done great but Greenups offense did very well. So you give this game to errors on Ashlands part. Plus they did hit as well that night.
  10. True. You also have a lot of buddy system stuff going on. In other words, I'll vote for you, if you vote for me. Also, in some district games, you'll have some solid teams with losses to lesser teams IF those respective districts do not use the regular season to seed their teams for post season. When the regular season means absolutely nothing, why show a potential post season team what you really have? I know the 63rd District uses a blind draw for post season play. It's hard to judge some teams because of this ludicrous way of doing things.
  11. Projected record? Who plays where? Impact players?
  12. LT Rice is very capable of being at the top in home runs and RBI's.
  13. I will tell you why it's simple really. From firsthand experience it's ATTITUDE and LEADERSHIP. They need someone to step up and take charge and dominate, a strong presence on and off the field. Eric Craft is capable of doing that and I think 2008 is going to be a monster year for him.
  14. It has been amazing to watch the cancer that has been several GCHS parents. They attempted to create havoc during the season and now attempt to tarnish a wonderful finish to a great run by the Entire Staff at GCHS. It is obvious to me that most of the folks that have complained so much this year have never put a jock strap on! What gives you the right to question anything these coaches do? NOTHING. Stick to what you know, which is obviously not football. If what i say offends you, then i am talking to you. PLAYERS PLAY, THE COACHES DO THEIR BEST TO PUT THEM IN A POSITION TO BE SUCCESSFUL. The players responded to the leadership provided. ALL the coaches did tremendous job of dealing with off the field parent distractions, player distractions and at the end of day had the boys in great position to capture a REGION TITLE. THESE GUYS DESERVE A FREAKING RAISE DEALING WITH THE CANCER THAT WAS. I have sat and watched up close and personal some of this cancer. 3 Successful High School Head Coaches that are friends of mine have told me the GREENUP job was the worst job they could imagine due to the politics and parents. We should be GREATFUL for these men who WANT to actually be apart of GCHS. They have the program on the rise. District titles will be commonplace over the next 3 to 4 yrs. It makes me sick to watch you hide behind a screen names and criticize those whom you pat on the back. sincerely, Rob Rister
  15. The Raging Royals got it no doubt...they got to many athletes to lose. Mason Co by 3 TDs.
