How is Lexington catholic ranked and Dixie Heights isn't? Didn't they beat them?
-
They would have benefited going under last year instead of the spread, and even the year before. You cannot run a spread offense when you only have 1 or 2 recievers. I hate the fact that there was "well that's just what we do" mentality. You adapt to your players strengths.

And a loss to Dixie heights who is ranked 19th
-
I wouldn't go that far. In the first game last year they only beat conner by 3 or so. They played hard defensively and once they come together on offensive they will be scary.

Zeke Pike Will Enroll At Auburn in January

He has not. One of the kids who came out and told the truth that he was involved, along with zeke and the other mentioned, recieved in school suspension for telling the truth. As for the other not named zeke, his first day back in the classroom was today. -

Will This Be Tom Spritzky's Last Season?

You don't know very much about athletics then. You can't teach someone to be quick, fast, and strong and have a killer mentality. You either have it or you don't. -
Yes i was at the game and have attended many of their practices. These kids will simply not get fired up and have no heart. To me, it seems like a bunch of pre-madonnas who think they are better than they actually here. As a coaching staff you have to go from getting your kids prepared to trying to become a psychologist to figure out why there is not heart or no effort. One thing i do agree with you on is they need to institute the "don't try, don't play" rule. And everyone wants to sit here and say how great highlands coaching staff is. Come on guys, these kids are born and bred to play football at about the age of 5. When you have enough talent and as much tradition as they do, the kids have no room to fail or they WILL lose their spot. That makes it a whole lot easier than kids at other schools that have started since sophomore year and have the mentality like "What is he going to do? Not play me?" It might be better to go 5-5 with those kids than go 1-9 with the others, who knows. I also want to make it clear that I am not mocking Highlands coaching staff. They are the best of the best in NKY year in and year out. All I'm doing is making a point.

I'm so tired of everyone bashing their coaching staff. In my years of watching high school football, you have to have the players to compete. I believe that coaching is about 20% of the game. So, if a team plays 10 games and they win 8 those 2 loses might be chaulked to coaching. I don't care if you put ludlows coaching staff on the 09' Highlands team they would still have won a state championship and probably would have lost to st.x. Coaches are the easiest to blame but the kids need to look at the man in the glass

Once Bruns gets back it will add alot to Dixie, I think they are the favorite as of right now. -
I was wondering where his name has been the past two weeks. My son had later told me he was out with a high ankle sprain. Today, he came to me and told me that he had gotten x-rays re done and they revealed a fracture in his fibula. That kid is a trooper he played with that through the cov cath game and even tried to play at highlands! Hats off to the kid and wish him the best of luck.

He started but after the 3rd or 4th game (cant remember) he only played key situations
