  1. Rumor has it, lights will be part of the new turf/additions made to the sports complex. I believe that lights were going to be put up a couple years ago, but the surrounding community/houses fought it. I am not forsure how the how this is going this time around.
  2. I saw the Catholic - Holmes game and Holmes was had a lot of team speed and they should be mentioned as a top 5 team. They will be good this year!
  3. LC is moving the scoreboard and redoing the visiting side.
  4. LexCath installed their turf in time for the 1999 football season. It will be ripped up and replaced this summer starting on June 1. I believe there will be additions and improvements to the entire sports complex at LC. This includes lights and power to the baseball part of the complex. The turf has held up well and it will be great to see how advancements and technology have improved the product. LC got 11 seasons out of the turf.
  5. Ledford was the head coach at Franklin County for two years. I believe he did not have a very good record there.
  6. Why can't people just answer questions? There was no need to bring up the private verses public question. I was just wondering how people feel about this match-up and giving my congrats to Pendleton for a successful season. Oh, for your information, any STUDENT/athlete can go to any school in the state that they wish as long as they pay a fee. Why, I believe that the city of Louisville even has open enrollment! Let's get off this issue and give credit to our young men and what they have accomplished, whether it be Lexington Catholic or Pendleton County.
  7. With this big win, Pendleton has earned a date with Lexington Catholic! How do they match up with the Knights?
  8. At what part of the game did CC's QB get hurt? Did that have something to do with them not scoring? Will he play this week against LexCath?
  9. The score was 27 - 12 at the half and 47 - 12 at the end of the third when the varsity stopped playing. One of SW's scores was on an interception return for a TD.
  10. Could it be Troy Hobbs? He has been with Sphire for many years (at Catholic and in Georgia). He also played for Kentucky in the early 90's.
  11. Lexington Catholic vs Covington Catholic in the Bluegrass Bowl.
  12. The public schools can blame themselves for not standing up to the higher ups and say that they need to play Catholic, if for any reason, to seed the district tournament.
  13. During Catholic's two state championship runs, they were well balanced on offense.
  14. If you include scrimmage games. Lex. Catholic also played Madison Central and they play Louisville Trinity tonight. They will be battle tested by the time the playoffs get here.
