Despite the fact that the game was fairly close most of the way it was pretty boring.

OJ and Walker don't play much defense and didn't look to be exerting much effort period.

LaSalle hit some open looks to keep it close.

Very good crowd.

5/3rd has to be one of the worst designed arenas around. I had not been there since Allan Houston played for UT and came town and had forgotten how bad the place was.

I was up there tonight. I'm honestly not that impressed at all with North College Hill, it was my first time seeing them. I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt in that they didn't think they had to play hard against Lasalle, who put up a good fight for a while. NCH didn't box out or play defense very well at all.

Mayo, my first time seeing him, well he's pretty solid, can do it all, but people call him the next Lebron? Please...don't insult Lebron James like that. He has a long way to go. Walker is tough, but seems like he can be a bit of a head case and out of control...great athlete though.

Ellis, didn't really impress me at all. I really enjoyed the play of their point guard #21 however. #21 for Lasalle, Bobby something had a real solid game and looked to be quite the player.

Overall, not really impressed at all with NCH, Mayo is tough though. I think that when they play Oak Hill Academy sometime in Febuary, they are going to get brought back to reality.

Good finish in the game before with Reading over McNicholas in a last second shot.

I hadn't been to the Shoe in a while but they need to reconfigure that place. Tons of waisted space and it was extrememly warm tonight. I would venture to say at least 7,500 in attendance, good crowd but boring game. NCH looked very lazy, not much structure to their game. I would have those guys playing the full 84 feet. Ellis has absolutely no back to the basket game and OJ looked fairly pedestrian tonight. LaSalle gave a good effort considering they lost to St.X by about 10. Maybe NCH was a bit tired due to travel but they didn't impress me one bit tonight.
