Henry Clay, No. 7 in the state in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, got 21 points from Jordan Green and edged Montgomery County 59-57. Montgomery got a game-high 29 points and 12 rebounds from Omar Prewitt. Henry Clay was outshot 57 percent to 45 percent but forced 17 turnovers while committing only six. There were 16 lead changes in a game that saw host Montgomery (19-7) lead by as much as 19 and Henry Clay (20-6) by as much at 14. Darren Tichenor gave Henry Clay a 58-57 lead by hitting a shot with 57 seconds left and Montgomery didn't answer.

When I saw that I thought..WOW. Thought you would have posted something in the update thread about it.

Prewitt is growing more and more as a player each game. Last night He had 29 points with tough defense in his face all night. And in the past he was an outside threat. Friday night and last night he scored both inside and outside. He seems to have matured a lot and taken his game to the next level. 40 points, 21 rebounds & 29 points with 11 rebounds.

Having seen him play numerous times over the last two years his maturity has been an issue in some games. If he has gotten past that... well then look out!
