Panthers led 58-51 but were outscored 28-11 down the stretch.

Great gym there, old style with the crowd being right on the court and above in a balcony. Loved that but the officals struggled today for both sides.

I thought 8th region officiating was poor but what I saw down in Augusta was beyond discription. Just one example... hargett gets the ball on a fast break goes up and trys to dunk and gets under cut. Official calls it a regular foul. There was no attempt at a ball foul just a push in the back. Trame ask the ref if there was an attempt to ball foul and the ref told trame he understood his argument.

Two of those officials I had not seen this year before today. Unfortunately, a good portion of the officiating I've seen in the 10th region is fairly poor.

 

I think, as a team now, Augusta has some adjustments to make. On the positive side, they still have seven or so games to make those adjustments before the district tournament.

I heard that one of the refs dropped the f bomb on a fan, and gave a t to the coach for talking to one of his own players.
