statman
Surprised no one posted this, but the Indians run their record to 23-2 as Travis Thompson leads the way on Senior Night with 19 points, hitting 5-7 from 3.
Baseball Nut 24
If there was any doubt about how HC would come out after winning the All A State over the weekend, that was answered early as the Indians came out focused and immediately took a double-digit lead after 1 quarter as the Camels couldn't handle the pressure of HC. Credit Coach Goetz and his staff for getting the kids ready to play. I believe the starters left the game in the 3rd quarter with a 30+ pt lead. Nate McGovney was held to just 10 pts. Porky
Impressive win for Holy Cross. Thought this game might be closer. Holy Cross just keeps rolling on. Congrats on yet another W.
TAC
It was Holy Cross Senior night too. The early lead was brought on by the Seniors! Congrats to the Indians on an impressive win!
Capernicus41
Nice to hear Thompson had a big senior night. Great kid, and he (along with Fortner) have done a heck of a job filling in for Avery. HC sure is impressive, hopefully they continue this great run Friday. Credit Coach Goetz and staff for getting these kids up after that All A game. NKYSportsfan41
Isn't your senior night usually your last home game of the season? Isn't CCH vs HC at Holy Cross on Friday?
statman
I'm not sure why it was last night. My theory is that they wanted to have it right after our All "A" State title victory, but I really do not know.
