Woodford County 89 Franklin County74

Good win for WC in a hostile district game @ FC. Also saw the return of Jay Johnson who had 18 pts and 8 Rebs. Glad to see WC get back on track...all around team effort.

Side note: Timmons for FC is the fastest player I have seen this year. Can't imagine what he did as a football player when he didn't have to dribble the ball.

Johnson = Difference Maker

Can't wait to see how high Woodford's ceiling is with Johnson. They're my sleeper in the 11th.

FC made a nice comeback to take the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. Close game until the final three minutes or so when WC executed better as team than FC. A little too much 1 on 1 down the stretch for FC in my opinion.

Johnson took a nasty fall on a rebound in the 4th and appeared to hurt the knee that sidelined him last summer, but he did re enter the game. Glad it was not serious.

Great to hear Jay Johnson is back and had a good night. Nice win for Woodford.

Agree, glad he is back.

Woodford County outscored host Franklin County by 18 in the fourth quarter to rally for an 89-74 victory. Jay Johnson, in his first game back since suffering a torn ACL in the summer, led the Yellowjackets with 18 points. Ryan Timmons scored 31 for the Flyers.
