Which once again your last statement is wrong. He does not suck, he had a good enough career going for UK to hire him. He then takes over a team who was not the most talented team in the country that year compared to others, and won a title with them. You say UK had a strong enough base to keep doing well, well that would have ended after 4 years. But after four years he had the program going up again, and had a great 3 year stretch. He does not suck as a coach, however as with some coaches sometimes the game does start passing them by after awhile.

Your second statement is wrong. He does suck.

As for your 4 year theory UK recruited itself for 2 or 3 years after Orlando arrived. Therefore, in 7 years he ran the program straight into the ground. Look at the roster the BCG inherited. Is there any wonder why started drinking heavily? At Minny Orlando took over nothing and in 5 years has made it worse. He leaves programs worse off than he found them. He sucks.

Huh? He sucks? OK, get your hate on if you want but at least be accurate with your facts. Here are some facts:

- Minnesota is currently 13-5, current RPI 40, I believe they have been ranked this season. Does that suck?

- Prior to Tubby, Minnesota had 1 20 win season in the previous 10. The won 9 in the year before Tubby and 20 in his first season there. Tubby has won 20 games every season there except last year.

- Prior to last season at Minnesota, Tubby had won 20+ games for 17 consecutive seasons at four different schools.

Now, feel free to carry on with some hate. I am sure you can find something.

2 wins in their last 16 conference games. By any standard that is suck material.

See this is why it is stupid to argue with people who don't know what their saying.. Your statement about how he made Minnesota wrong from where you found it is also wrong. They won less than 10 games before he got there. As for UK recruiting itself that is not true, a coach still has to coach them. Not to mention Tubby helped his ownself out by winning the title, something that no one knows if Pitino would have done with that group. Who knows if Pitino's plays work in those close games like Tubby's did. He sucks is wrong, there is a reason why he has landed jobs in big conferences and reasons why he landed the UK job. If you want to say he is not an elite coach, then I can agree with that. If you want to say the game is maybe slowly passing him by, then I can agree with that. However to say he sucks is just wrong, and so I have no reason to continue this discussion.

Good I'm glad your done. 2-14 in his last 16 conference games. Biggest win this year is over Va Tech. Lets face it he got an opportunity and keeps them longer than he should due to certain........factors.

Hold on before all you "10 loss Tubby" lovers quit please answer me this: How many NCAA Tournament wins or NIT wins does UM have under Orlando's direction? I'll give you a hint, 1! NIT victory in his first year. Since then, zilch. You have to admit that he sucks at least a little bit.
