DIXIE HEIGHTS (8-5) vs. LAKOTA WEST (7-3)

Dixie Heights has won three straight games to push its record above the .500 mark. In the Colonels’ latest victory, sophomore guard Brandon Hatton had 33 points and senior forward Parker Stansberry had 19. Hatton has been a double-figure scorer in each of Dixie's first 13 games.

Lakota West’s good start should come as no surprise. The Firebirds have four players back from last year’s team, including junior forward Monty Boykins. He was a double-figure scorer in each of the team’s first 10 games and enters the week with a 15.6 average.

Boykins is most likely a low-level D1 player. Maybe mid.

bump

Think Lakota West's length on defense will win this game for them. Still think Dixie wins the region though.
