The 45th is going to be nuts this year. Nuts.

What's crazy is that Garrard County has just as much all around "talent" as anyone in the district, but one thing that has been killing Garrard in all of their games is

execution. When Garrard executes and rebound the ball effectively, it is no question in my mind that they can play with anyone in this region. Boyle didn't play very well at all, but did enough to stay in the game. I'm proud of the Lions for pulling one out. Boyle will be just fine.

 

Great win for your Lions. I wish I could say I was surprised but I wasn't. You guys are young also so this is a tremendous building block for your future as well as the confidence of this year's team.

It was a HUGE confidence booster for the Lions. They've had a rough year so far, and know that they are a better team than they have been playing. I agree with you about the 45th this year, it will probably be one of the more competitive district tournaments we have had in a while. All I want to see is good basketball!

I'd say we will. I think all four teams in the 45th feel they have underachieved and not yet played their best ball. Going to be a crazy January and February.

 

 

I smell a coin flip tiebreaker scenario happening again this year.
