^ Thanks so much. Think he averaged around 3-5 points a game last year. He knew his role and played it to prefection. This year the role has changed and he has stepped up to the challenge. So proud of him and all our players. Fun group to watch.

Clark County captures Whitaker Bank Fort Harrod Classic tourney title

The Cardinals earned a ticket to the finals with victories over Allen-County Scottsville, Louisville Southern and Lexington Christian Academy.

 

Bopper Stenzel paced the Cards with 14 points, scoring 13 points in the first half. Charlie Rogers also scored 14 points with nine of those coming in the final half. Stenzel was named Most Valuable Player and tallied double figures in all four games.

 

Clark guard Taylor Howard helped provide the heroics with a 3-pointer and a bucket by Adam Fatkin gave the Cards a 46-43 lead with less than three minutes remaining. The Cards scored five of the last six points for the final margin.
