Final in Berea Invitational.

Overall it was a good game. Somerset had the lead early but when Holmes took the lead they never gave it up. Somerset was down 6 in the 3rd when Holmes went on a 17-2 run to give them a comfortable lead. Somerset continuously chipped away at the lead getting it to single digits in the 4th quarter, but the margin was too much to overcome. I wonder if there are any stats on shooting percentage for Holmes because they were lights out from 3 the majority of the game. Good luck to the Bulldogs the rest of the season.

Holmes hasn't been a very good shooting team to date so the fact that they shot so well tonight should come as a surprise SHS. I guess law of averages finally caught up because despite the poor shooting early, Coston, Palmer, and even Rice are all very good outside shooters.

I guess it depends on where the shots were coming from. Were they getting to the rim often?

Holmes shot well in general...both inside and out. The Dogs have been very good this year when attacking the rim, but the outside shot has been lacking.
