Final from Lexington. Didn't catch all the stats but Stewart and Burns go for 24 and 23 respectively for Fleming. Davis nets 26 or 28 (not sure) for Lafayette. Panthers got up by around 18 before Lafayette makes it close.

Troy...Darion Burns and Troy are both sophomores. A couple of other sophs play key roles as well. Fleming is young but will be a tough out.

How good is Lafayette supposed to be this season?

Fleming County led by 20 midway through the third quarter and was up by nine with 51 seconds left before host Lafayette's rally came up short 87-86.

Darrion Burns had 23 points, 10 steals and four assists for the Panthers. Troy Steward hit four three-pointers and finished with 24 points and four rebounds.

Jackson Davis was 16-for-21 from the field and scored 33 points for the Generals. He also had 14 rebounds. Teammate Nick Trisko also had a double-double with 17 points and 20 rebounds.

Lafayette was 9-19 last season. Wondering if they are still rebuilding .
