Fun game to watch. LexCath front line was probably 6'7, 6'6 and 6'5 plus a 6'4 250 pound kid off the bench.

 

At one point CCH had Cleves (about 6'0 or 6'1) playing the 5 and Brandon Ward (similar size) playing the 4...and they did well.

 

Cleves brought it defensively tonight against the big boys. Ward was 2/3 from 3. CCH simply handled LC's press with no problems. Less than 10 turnovers all night.

 

I'd look for them to get their first W tomorrow night at Mercer.

What about JV and Freshman?

Frosh won by three of four and JV lost on a last second three.

 

All three CovCath teams played LexCath tough on the Knights floor, which is a hard to do and none of the three had any trouble with the press.

Don't misunderstand my post. I wasn't taking any shots at the boys. My point was the team battled despite all of the challenges with one being foul trouble for the bigs. Their effort was good.
