North Bullitt 41 Trigg County 15

Featured Replies

Trigg County turns it over 5 times in the first half and North Bullitt scores four touchdowns.

Asbury had 133 yards on 21 carries and Ryan Collins had 144 yards rushing.

NB is 8-1 while Trigg slips to 6-3

North has been waiting for Collins to step up and take some of the focus off Asbury. With downing getting some tough yds inside as well makes them hard to defend.

Scribe, were you at the game? If so, what was your take on North's squad?

I was there. I think they need to utilize Collins more than they do. He was the difference in the game and not Asbury as much. I would like to have seen the game not decided on turnovers but to North's credit, they took advantage of everything given them and that's what good teams do.

Anyone have any info about how this game came about ? Just curious - heck of a road game.

The coaches know each other from powerlifting circles and both were in need of a game.

Thanks

It seems like the three Bullit schools rotate football strength. Four or five years ago BE had a potent, high scoring passing attack. A year or two ago, B Central was very strong. Now North B is having a great season.

Does anyone have any insight how and why this rotation takes place?

Just have a cycle of talent / athletes. All 3 schools about the same size. I would think it is similar in many places with the exception of John Hardin who seems to rarely have a down year.
