Knox Central 40 Rockcastle County 14

KC air attack was the difference in this one.

Knox Central surprised Rockcastle by opening in a spread offense, often with 5 receivers. By jumping out to a big early lead they forced Rock to play catch up and get away from what they like to do. The KC defense did the rest.

Make no mistake, Rockcastle is a good team and this was a big win.

Not totally surprised by the win by Knox Central, but by the margin. Wow.

Wow! Didn't expect that score...

For those who questioned Rockcastle Co. because of their schedule, they get to say I told you so after this one.

I suspect Clark Rowe being lost for the year had as much to do with it as schedule strength although they did beat Perry Central and Russell County without him.

Probably correct. Both physically and emotionally.

Hate that he will miss the opportunity to increase his stats and to participate in post-season.

Rockcastle has a good football team. Knox Central showed something Rock wasn't prepared for and by the time Rock adjusted at halftime it was too late. Second half was much closer.

Tough game...Congrats to KC. Our team never expected that spread offense. Nice execution. I hope Rock can rebound this next week against Clay.
