Hasbeen
The Whitley Co defense is terrible! Harlan County's offense makes it appear that way. They are big, strong, and fast.

cellking
Good win for Coach Larkey and his Black Bears, I'll be pulling for them in Play-offs. Most people thought they would win Dist. and looks like they will. Hope to see them in Bowling Green.
ST5
Whitley's defense did let them down but there were some bright spots. Harlan stopped Bryant cold but the Colonels did have two 100 yard rushers, so they did find a way to move the ball without the aid of Bryant. The Colonels moved the ball on the Black Bears consistently which few teams have done, and with a break or two here and there (Harlan still wins) but it could have been different game. Too many big plays (three one play scoring drives) by the offense of Harlan aided by a gambling (no reason not to) defense of Whiltey. All in all about what I expected but I was pleased to see certain aspects of the game unfold the way they did.
