Are you all forgetting X was without 3 key starters? Starting quarterback Alex Mattingly, starting left guardd Joe Tobbe, and starting safety Garrett Underwood.

 

Everyone deals with injuries at this point. Still no reason for this game to come down to the wire except Central played their butts off.

I thought X would control this game at home. However, after looking at the box score in the paper I don't see how Central can call it a moral victory. It was really more of a moral defeat, as in "look what we did rushing the football and stopping their run and we STILL couldn't beat X."

We can't forget because we are constantly reminded. I hope all are healed and at 100% for the next game

 

Mattingly is playing next week, so add another 150 yards to the offense.
