I really hate how the word non-disciplined players are tagged to Central players. Why can't Central every lose to St.X or Trinity and not have that word put on them. Central was never in a wrong formation because they did not know what to do. Central had "1" penalty for 5 yards. If you watched the game it was not because they were more disciplined, it was because "X" made one more play then Central to win the game. X's staff did a great job of finding the weakness of Central, just as did Central do X.

Define disciplined (white players) Define athleticism and Speed (black players).???? There is always someone on here after or before the game that uses that word "discipline", when they talk about Central. That tag needs to be taken off and just say it was a great game between two programs. I would love to read and see if the word discipline is used next week after the X/T game.

 

I agree with you comment. What was Undisciplined about Central ? St. x had at least 40 more yards in stupid penalties to Central's 5. Are we talking about trash talking or disrepect ? I saw none or heard none of that . Nothing but mutual respect from my standpoint. It is a great rivalry and Central just appears to be snake bit.

Central has THE best concessions, bar none. I agree about the fish sandwich, but I am a out-and-out sucker for their pork chop sandwich. LOVE going to Central for football games! AND they have THE BEST DRUMLINE! I actually pretty much love everything about attending a football game at Central.

It was a remarkable game! It's great that St. X and Central play. hats off to coaches Scroggins and Glaser and the administrators of both schools. The crowd was large and in to it! Coach Scroggins has done a great job in putting talented teams on the field. He has also energized the Central fanbase and they turned out in large numbers.

 

As to the game, the numbers in the Courier-Journal were incorrect. St. X had 192 yards rushing not 70. Sophomore Charles Walker had 108 yards himself. Anothony Wales is well on his way to breaking Derek Homer's career rushing record and I predict he will if he stays healthy because Central will make another deep run in the playoffs. Hats off to QB Gahafer for making a huge throw on 4th down in overtime for the win.
