October 11, 201114 yr The deal he told the Big East to turn down was equal to the ACC ESPN deal. Money was roughly the same. What it sounds like is collusion. Can we agree on that??? Again, unless you're telling me that the Presidents have zero power to make their own minds up the actions by ESPN or Comcast or any other business entity is irrelevant.
October 11, 201114 yr Would have at best been a plus one, and no I do not think it would have stopped what is happening... Plus one is the same thing as a 4 team playoff unless there are two and only two undefeated teams though right? Or would there have been special circumstances set up for a plus one. I've never really understood the plus one deal.
