Wow...not an easy date on that schedule, except Sept. 29th.

Not many home games. What does Pike Co Central have next year? I'm am thrilled to see them playing Breathitt again. That rivalry has a lot of respect on both sides and has produced a couple of outstanding games! I think that is a good pickup for both teams.

Wow, what a schedule. No one can say even though Lawrence has had a few down years in the last 6 or 7 years, that they don't play anybody. I thought they might keep Ironton, but with the Tigers joining a conference maybe they can pick them back up the year after.

Here goes my premature prediction. This will be the year LC starts back on the right track. The rebuilding process over the last 2 years will start to show. Although I think LC will not have a chance at a regional championship until 07-08 season.

I would love to see the DAWGS end up 7-3 at the end of the regular and I think it is very possible. Last year LC basically played a JV team on Friday nights I think they started around 8 or 9 sophmores if these kids all come back and play next year they should be able to achieve that record of 7-3 .They will have an experience QB and if Tim Hayes come's back and plays they will have an outstanding back up and also a real good tight end and linebacker in this young man. And it will have alot to do if the Dials kid makes his mind up to stay at LC this young man will be a force on both sides of the ball . I hope he desides to stay here and play with the same kids he has been with sence he was five years old. And I think we will have one of the best fullbacks in the area in Coty Roberts I also think that are line will be alot better then we had last year .And the secondary LC put's on the field should be second to none alot of experience comeing back . And I also think that if Morgan Roberts run's the ball like he did at the end of the season this year he will be up thier with some of the great RB's that has came through LC. Good luck to all the Dawg family and I am just hopeing that these kids will stay together and get are program back to were it was in the 90's. :thumb:

Is the Dials kid thinking of transferring? Does he play LB &TE?

Anyone who picks Lawrence to lose to Pike County Central is misguided.

Seems like the old rumor mill starts up every year about this time . I have heard that might be the case on the dials kids I think most of this comes from his dad I know last year he was thinking about sending him to Boyd Co. But they decided to keep him at LC. And I for one am glad I think alot of this young man and I would hate to see him in another uniform on Friday nights I know his dad is just wonting the best for him but I don't think he will find any better coaches that will do more for him then what we have right here in Louisa. The Dials kid will have a chance to maybe play at the next level if he stays healthy and works hard on and off the field and in the class rooms. I wish the best for him I know he can play Football like I said before he's a keeper. He does play tight end and LB but this kid can play any were that is needed the last couple of games LC had this year Billy put him on the D-line and nobody could handle him he's a real player.

I would like to see Dials stay at LC. Hopefully his dad understands that LC had to rebuild over the past 2 years, and Dials was part of that rebuilding process. If he stays in LC, he will get the exposure he deserves over the next 2 seasons. Dials would benefit more by transferring to a team like the Tolsia Rebels. Boyd Co will be no better than LC, and Tolsia will have a chance at the WV 2a state championship next year. I think he will stay at LC though.

Lawrence Co has probably sent more kids on to play college ball the last 15 years in Eastern KY than anybody. That is never a problem at Lawrence Co. We had a camp this past summer in Louisa with former players back. There were around 12 or more colleges represented (all composed of former LC players that played at LC and in college over the 15 year span).

I couldn't agree more :thumb: I was at the camp that day and saw alot of young men thier that brought back a lot of memories it was a good camp for the young dawgs of Louisa. And I for one would love to see it every year .

A tough schedule, but a better team at 8-2 in '06.

Yes, its time for the rumors to start. I think 1/3 of the kids have said that they are transferring. Whatever any of the kids do I'm sure it is in their best interest. It is up to the parents, not the public, to discuss. I'm sure Nathaniel will be in red and black throughout high school.
