X loses its first game to a KY public - albeit a good one - in years.

Male shoots itself in the foot and only scores 3 in a loss to Western.

Manual beats Central by 3 in the season opener.

 

Is the district not all that and a bag of chips? Are the smaller Jefferson County schools better than we thought?

No, the district is like Superman and a bunch of Wonder Twins.

McPapa seems to think it may be Superman and Marvin, Wendy, and Wonderdog.

I think most years it will be a super district. This year it just happens to be a little down outside of Trinity who is way up.

Manual may well be #2 in the district this season.

 

So far there have been some lackluster performances though.
