Regardless of whether or not the player is injured or not, if they're on the CC list you cannot cut them until they're placed on IR. That kills your roster.

In that case I would be ok with it, but in every league I've played the commish could drop the players for you.
September 3, 201115 yr Author I couldn't log on today on my phone....sorry I couldn't get back in here.... Update.... I spoke with the owner who dropped Colston and asked her multiple times if this is what she wanted to do. She assured me that is what she wanted to do and so I allowed the transaction. She is a huge Oakland Raider fan and ironically I drafted the Raider she wanted, Jacoby Ford, and instead of offering me a trade for him she decided to cut Colston for Heyward Bey instead. Go figure. I know they weren't in collusion and as commissioner I felt I'd be overstepping my boundaries to correct her stupidity. She is also our only repeat champion and the only person to run the table all year and win a championship so she's not your typical woman playing fantasy football. Well, at least she didn't used to be anyways. Thanks for the advice. I read them all and every time I tried to post the website would crash and go back to the menu page on my phone.
September 3, 201115 yr Author I am a fan of the can't cut list. When it is active it prevents stupid decisions such as this one. She drafted Colston in round 5 and dropped him for a guy who is one of the dumbest first round picks this decade. I think he is the #3 wr in Oakland right now. I have established a can't cut list now. It also prevents collusion when you play with people you don't know in random espn.com leagues because you just love drafting fantasy football teams.
September 3, 201115 yr Author We have 2 IR spots in my league. We are a keeper league and you can keep two guys. If you lose your first round pick in week 1 you have the option to put him on IR, keep him and try again next year or release him after the year. I don't know of any owner who can't appreciate that often. Think Tom Brady vs. Kansas City 2-3 years ago.

I had one owner who butchered his lineup in week #13 to get the rights to Reggie Bush and he's no longer in the league because of this. The other guys know not to do something stupid since this happened.

It's not so much about trust but the league would have been protected from one owner's stupidity if I had established it.
