They are still the class of that district other than perhaps Russell. These tough early games should go a long way toward helping the Royals get better, so long as they don't suffer any injuries along the way.

Alot of coach's,knowing that his team would be this young and inexperienced would have put together a cup cake schedule,thruout the 10 games on the schedule.Glad to see that Coach B,didn't take that approach.I think the Royals will end up 5-5 and could be 6-4,with another district championship,if they can improve everygame.

If Coach B believes that Jake is his Q.B.,the next 4 years,I would think he leaves him in,and lets him get that much needed experience.JMO.I did hear a rumor,that Coach said one of his biggest regrets since he came here was not starting Neal Pawsat when he was a freshman,and Neal had a pretty good career.So if he has the same expectatations about Jake,I say give him the reps.It will pay off in their future,I do believe.

Agree Snappy, would bet that MC's non-district schedule gets really,really easy next season much like the basketball schedule has gotten for this upcoming season, when MC knows they're down some they tend to schedule that way. This season's schedule was made to showcase Josh would think.
