Menke is gone again. Butler has another knee injury, not sure how serious. The new coach made the mistake of keeping some of the old staff. I withdraw my "better" prediction. Judging from the talent level and lack of heigth, it'll be 3-4 more years before Mason's truly competitive.

I agree we lack height but I am not sellingl them off. Lets give them time to build the chemistry amongst each other. They are a great group of girls with their own individualize talent. I feel with a little more time together they will compete. I just hope none of them read this post. Harsh.

They are a great group of girls

Absolutely. They'll play their hearts out. It's not them that concerns me. Lack of height is a given, but they have a lot of girls in the 5' 9" range.

Sorry Beverlybubba. After further review I totally agree with you. No one runs a play . Ave. 20+ turnovers a game, and I am being conservative. I cant even keep up with who is playing what position. Girls taking shots that aren't even there. There is no direction. Going to be a long year.

The loss to Fleming today surprised me. I listened on the radio. 32 turnovers today. They really miss Butler, I think. Every team in the district probably wants to beat Mason County more than any other team. This makes every game for Mason a tough game.

I got there after half time and what I saw looked so unorganized. If their point guard is out for now then they need to come up with plan B. I saw at least 4 different players bring the ball up. I just hope they figure it out.

Mason had that many Turnovers with Butler so don't believe she made a big difference there. She will be greatly missed but the turnovers still exit. The girls just don't value the ball. Half of Mason's turnovers are just stupid or mental mistakes. Throwing long cross court passes is one of our favorites and throwing the ball before you look. If we could cut them in half we would have alot more wins.
