Really? WOW! I was told that HC won 28-14 by a Scott player. I was not at the scrimmage.

Is the Pouncey playing for Holy Cross?

Holy Cross scored 3 touchdowns in the first quarter. Since the third touchdown came on the final play of the first quarter, the referee did not allow HC to attempt the PAT (scrimmage rules, I guess). HC scored one more touchdown in the second quarter. Final score, HC 27 Scott 0. #15 Kyle Fuller looked solid at QB passing and rushing. Man, has he been working out his right leg! Every one of his kickoffs (except one squib kick to give the cover team practice) were touchbacks. His punts in practice were easily 40-50 yards! They need to keep this kid healthy! I hope he can catch a break off the field sometime in the game (he also plays defense). #3 Eric Walker looks like Fuller's #1 receiver. He appears to be the one running the routes that Japser ran last year. Lots of speed at WR. #22 Jalen Beal will get a lot of press this year (and the next two after that). Favorite play seems to be the end around for a score. He does need to work on his hands after dropping a couple easy throws. I wonder if RB will be his final destination before he graduates in 2014. Speaking of RBs, it seems that running will be a change of pace again for HC this year (#30 James Trunnell and #24 Paul Lampone seem able to provide that role). I was very delighted to see HC play some really good defense. Linemen were rotated. Scott was sacked several times and running backs were held to many runs of negative yardage (#74 Kyle Fischer led the charge). Holy Cross can be very good if they keep their stars healthy. Depth and size may be issues (as historically they seem to be with HC) against the bigger name schools (Beechwood, NCC, etc.). We shall see.
