Madison Southern 2011

Featured Replies

What does Madison Southern need to do to improve in 2011? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Talked to one of Southern's players at UK Camp he said they had 83 kids lifting. If this is true look for them to be a much better team than in past few years.

That is a lot lifting.

I think M.S. will be much improved!

I think MS will be better. It sounds like they have a great new coach that the administration is happy with. I do believe there is a fresh enthusiasm and excitement about the program. MS should see a 4 to 5 win improvement.

Madison Southern has had three certified kids move in, one from Tennessee, and two transfers, I would like to think a possible 6 or 7 win season and I'm not joking. The kids that have come in are very talented, plus not playing against Bell Co and Knox Central certainly helps.

This is good to hear. I wish the best to Madison So. Not playing in Dist with Bell,Knox and Rock will help. Good Luck.

I counted 62 boys out today. Coach Clark has got the boys out, kids are flying around, spent a few days at a "boot camp"/team building, and if nothing else has brought the excitement back to Madison Southern football something that certainly wasn't there last year. Also, I know that this is not a thread for other sports, but ALL the coaches in each sport seem to be very upbeat. I think Coach Clark has certainly been a breath of fresh air at Madison Southern. I also think that if football brings excitement, it spreads to all sports. I look for Southern to be very good in all sports this up coming year. GO EAGLES!

That is great news for the Eagles. Sounds like you got the right guy. 62 boys is great. Sounds like a break through season on the horizon.
