I know it is early with more qualifiers yet to be played, but just checking to see who has qualified for the ASA/USA 14U Nationals in Midland, TX July 30-August 7. The 14U Louisville Lady Sluggers qualified this past weekend. Also, anyone has qualified for any ASA/USA National at any age level, talk about it here.

Congrats to the Sluggers, there is not a better tourny in the country the ASA/USA Nationals. Last year we played the Corona Angels at 2:30 in the morning and had around 20 College coaches watching, schools like Arizona, Washington, UCLA and TN were there to see a 14U game pretty cool.

 

Cincy Doom 95 will be attempting to get there bid for the 16U Nationals in Chattanooga at states in 2 weekends. We look to improve on our 17th out of 126 finish last year in 14U in Moline.

 

I wish more girls from this area got a chance to play at this tourney. The travel ball teams in this area are just not ready to compete at this level. Hopefully the sport keeps growing and the teams from this area will be able to attend this tourny in the future.

Cincy Doom 95 has got their bid to Nationals!! They won the Ohio ASA states this past weekend in Findlay Ohio. They finished 1st out of 57 to earn the birth. Can't wait to make it to Chattanooga, they have some of the nicest softball fields in the country and should be a great time.

Agreed. Looks like only one KY team gonna be at 14u in Midland, TX. Last I checked, about 170 teams going to Chattanooga for the 16u and 85 to Midland for the 14u. Good luck to you guys in Chattanooga.

Depends on Coach Dobina, 18u head coach and head of the organization. At some point, he will probably "retire", which could put a halt on things. Even if he does retire, the organization will probably carry on for a few years as 18u and/or 16u. Right now, the 14u group has been bringing up the rear, meaning there has never been an age group behind them since they were 10u. The trip to Midland will not be bad, team is has chartered a bus.

Warner park is great we have played down there a couple of times. It is the nicest place we have played.

 

We drew Richmond Ruckus out of VA in our first game. Looks like they won the Hall of Fame tourny in OK so they should be a very tough team.
