Basketball season for 2011/2012 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Breathitt County? Remember, please be constructive.

Don't expect much....more political moves to accomodate football!! Hired a new coach and again will struggle....new coach will experience how it is to coach basketball in a totally driven football school....some things just never change!!

Denny Fugate.....was coaching at Cordia High School last year.....was banned years ago for bad conduct by KHSAA...friends with AD at Breathitt and will be a good puppet for football.......

How old is Fugate? How many years did he Coach at Cordia?

56 yrs. old....coached one year at Cordia.....hasn't been a head coach since M.C. Napier way back in the 80's....now why would you hire this guy right now??? Amazing how other sports other than football are getting treated in Breathitt County!!!

Denny Fugate while at MC Napier did win the region a few times and was a last second shot away from playing for a state championship.

Was he the head coach at Cordia or an assistant and if so who did Rhodes replace?

Denny Fugate is a good Coach, I'm sure he has grown up a lot since his MC Napier days. If Breathitt is a Football School only it is the Administration's fault. Super and Board Members. Get rid of them.

We will soon see this year.....basketball is a game you must stay in tune with, not just coach every 10 years or so!!
