June 2, 201115 yr Are we sure Votto will be better than Bruce 3 years from now? As great as Votto is when he got to the majors he said wait until you see Bruce. They both seem to get better every year and Bruce has more power IMO.

Bruce was definitely debated on pretty heavily by the "panel of experts" making the selections, but the general consensus seemed to be he's done it for a month. If he does it for a full season, he'd be a shoe in pick.

He's been a far better Pro than some of the guys taken so I'm not even good with their lame excuse.

Putting him #7 was a big reach for me. I personally wouldn't include Hamilton, but ESPN's love affair with him is what makes his exclusion shocking IMO.

Not much of a surpirse a 21 year old in the major leagues is included, IMO.
