Yes, the will be a very good football team. Not many people realize that they had Allen County-Scottsville down at the half this year in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Russell County is one of those places that stays right at or above .500 most of the time, playing a pretty good schedule for their size and type of school, but every 5 years or so, they'll have a team that can compete with 90% of the people out there and this year will be that year.

While that is true, it's something of an oddity that they have only won 2 playoff games in the history of the school. They beat Washington County in 2000 and then beat Hopkins County Central last season. They are 2-20 all time.
