I know this won't be news to many but for those of us who play Call of Duty: Black Ops on the PS3 console, it's pretty good news. TreyArch is giving us PS3 users the exclusive Double XP weekend since we weren't able to ahve it when XBOX360 and PC users were able to have.

It starts at 1pm today (Friday) and lasts until Tuesday at 1pm. The reason why it goes to 1pm on Tuesday is because the other consoles got the extra day due to the number of "Likes" the Call of Duty: Black Ops Facebook page got a few days before the last Double XP weekend...TreyArch figures that since the other consoles got the extra day, then PS3 users should as well.

Does that double the cash rewards too? If not, then Double XP's mean nothing to me and soon will mean nothing to you.

Awesome!!! Guess I'll be playing BO all that I can this weekend instead of MW2.

The COD points (cash) you get is usually 10% of what you get of XP during the game. As far as me with Double XP, I like it cause more of my friends get excited about playing so I get to play with them online so its all ood even though I'm already a 15th prestige like yourself.

Me and Pike3106 played earlier today on the Nuketown 24/7 playlist and was only able to play Sabotage, Domination and Demolition, which are all horrible game type for Nuketown...we were spawn raped so bad...it didnt help that one game we played we had a teammate kill himself with a semtex at least 70 times or so...it was the second person on a split screen and I guess they wanted to be a jerk to us after he went 1-15 within the first three minutes of regular play.

When do we get the new maps?

Feel free to add me. I can't figure out how to do it for some reason. My tag is 'diplocat'

There's an "Add a Friend" option on the far right menu(can't remember the name of the menu) somewhere above the chat option.

Call of Duty fans, set your DVRs. Whether you are a fan of the Dallas Mavericks or the Oklahoma City Thunder -- or neither -- you will want to be tuned into ESPN Monday night. The premiere of the first full-fledged Modern Warfare 3 trailer with gameplay footage will be broadcast during Game 4 of the NBA's Western Conference Finals.

I guess I missed the premiere of the commercial. Found this on youtube.....

Can someone find out when the new map pack will be available on PS3?

I'm kind of new to all this. Is that the Kowloon pack that I've been seeing Contracts for?

No, Kowloon was in the first strike map pack released a few months ago. There is another map pack that xbox users have had for a month or so that has 4 additional maps and another zombie map.

Send me a friend invite. Namecips

The new map pack is Escalation, it has 4 maps and a zombie map. The first map pack was First Strike. Kowloon was part of First Strike. Didn't like it at first, but depending on what game you're playing, it can be very fun.

I'm hearing either tomorrow or the next day it will be out.

Will do. How much do those map packs cost?
