Wayne Co 23-7 and Southwestern 13-16 on Wayne Co.'s floor. It was an upset, a huge upset. I want be suprised if Wayne Comes back and wins the Region. Rodney will have his bunch ready after this wake-up call.

 

Records don't mean diddly. As we've noted above, the Cardinals won by 5 and 3 in the prior meetings. Mild upset is all that warrants. Had Wayne won by double digits both times it could fairly be called a "huge" upset.

I know this group of boys at Wayne never won a region title. Have they ever won a district title?

They won as freshman dunagin and the left handed kid started I think but no one else on the team now even dressed varsity I'm pretty sure
