Bishop Brossart 60, Bracken County 54

Featured Replies

The Lady 'Stangs thawed out the Bracken County Polar Bears in Brooksville Saturday night. "We just keep plugging along, learning, trying to keep everyone healthy and trying to get better and better," commented Coach Josh Feldmann following his team's 15th win. The 15 wins broke last year's mark of 14 when they finished 14-11 and is the most varsity wins since the 2006-07 season.

It was a slow game. The team left school at 4:15 and returned at 10:30. During that marathon we had 53 fouls, a technical foul, 73 foul shots taken, and 59 turnovers. The game featured more fouls than Tewes and more turnovers than Sarah Lee. The bottom line though was Brossart's 6th straight win.

Freshman Abby Stadtmiller knocked home 25 points for her career high while Sophomore Rachel Hartig also netted her career high of 17.

Brossart is now 15-8 Bracken falls to 14-10

Sounds like Abby is taking after her father. Congrats to that young Freshman. Good time for the team to go on a run too.

Good luck Stangs.

I played some ball with her dad, Abby is definately better!

Nice work by the young Stangs and Coach Feldmann. His energy and attitude are a good match for a young team.

Jim played ball? That must have been a long time and many beers ago... LOL Abby is an awesome athlete for sure!
