The top 6 spots stay the same. Lexington Catholic falls from 7th to 12th spot.Trinity and Moore jumps two spots. Henry Clay makes it first appreance at #11, Bryan Station at #18 and John Hardin at #20. Falling out of the last top 20 are Dixie Heights, Covington Catholic, and Simon Kenton.

I would never presume to speak for anyone who posts on this site, but I have to say it is hard for anyone who follows HS basketball in Boone, Kenton, and Campbell county to give any weight to these rankings, since no teams from those three counties appear in the BGP Top 20.

They were last week but dropped out of the rankings this week. Didn't all 3 have losses to unranked teams?

I do not recall who from our area was in there beside Dixie and CovCath...NewCath maybe? Holmes?

Dixie lost to Scott who in my opinion is one of the better teams in our area. CovCath lost to both Holmes and NewCath. NewCath lost to Boone, again one of the better teams in our area. Holmes hasn't lost since December 29, Coach Booher is doing a terrific job with that group.

I would not get on BGP too bad. AP has one NKY team (14) and Lex. paper has two (16 & 20). Doesn't appear to be too out of whack .....to the extent you place a lot of credence in these polls.

Simon Kenton was #20. All teams you mentioned I don't feel would win against any of the ranked teams. John Hardin just made the top 20 this week and they are the only team in KY that is undefeated. Strenght of schedule means alot too. GRC for instance has only lost 1 game to a instate school, Henry Clay. They have beat ranked teams in, Christian Co, Scott Co. Warren Central, Tates Creek and Bryan Station. I do agree that Booher is doing a great job with the Holmes team this year.

I argued last week or the week before that they should have already been ranked.

We have some tough schedules in the 9th. Holmes lost to Ballard and Moore and beat Spencer County and West Jessamine. CovCath beat Henry Clay and lost to Ballard. That is just to name a few. Notice I'm only defending my district brethren, but I'm sure Boone and NewCath have some decent resumes as well.
