Eastern vs.Ballard in finals tonight.

I have told everyone I know, there is Ballard......then there is everyone else........ In Lexington during the Christmas break, Ballard just impressed the heck out of me.

The 'Rocks were really never in this one. B hit their first two shots to go up 6-0 and never looked back. At one point in the 2nd quarter they had hit 9 of 15 3-point attempts. Parker played well for B. He has great range on his shot. He is very fluid, very fast, very smooth. I thought Hardin did well also, mainly dirty work around the basket. Should be a fun game tonight vs. the Eastern Eagles.

I expected a better crowd for the double header. Maybe the $7 admission fee scared off some students and casual fans.

$5.00 is enough

Trinity is down by 21 in 3rd qtr against Ballard and they are running half court sets that take 30 secs for the play to develop??????????????????????

Stayin with the game plan

Would have gone if the Louisville game wasn't at 11 a.m.

And then Ballard losed by 8 to Eastern....

I agree that Ballard looked great in Lexington, but similar things were said last year and they finished runner-up in KY. The under classman are really good and they go more than 6 - 7 deep. There 12th player off the bench could have started for the majority of the teams in the LexCath tournament. They are going to be ahrd too beat but getting out of Louisville may be the most difficult thing they have to do.

They will not win every game but they are very good and well coached. I wish I could have been at the game.
