Final. Another hard fought win for Bracken Co.

Both teams played extremely hard. Game was very physical and ultimately the strength and size of Bracken prevailed. Harrison lost the game at the ft line. I think Bracken was like 26 of 39 at the charity stripe and Harrison was 5 of 8. Huge difference when you have a young Harrison Co. team and an experience Bracken Co. team. Harrison made several mistakes and is still learning how to play the game. Good luck to Bracken.

I think Bracken Co. finally picked up their 3rd team foul with about 2 and a half minutes to go in the game. A physical game....fouls should have been a little more even.

Against Lewis Co. Bracken picked up their 3rd team foul in the second half with 35 seconds remaining. Jefferson from Bracken picked up his first foul late in the 4th quarter and he was clearing out the lane all night long against Harrison Co. Both are hard to swallow, but Harrison did have several stupid fouls away from basket, but it wasn't that many... Will be interesting how the Robertson Co. faithful handles it tonight...

I was there and watched the game and IMO Harrison was VERY physical from the tip. Being young they definetely needed to. They also shot, and missed, quit a few threes which may account for the difference in fouls. Bracken took the the ball to the hole quit a bit or threw it in to tehir big guy. Turnovers killed Harrison in the end but it a great game to watch. Good luck to both teams for the remainder fo the season.

Harrison was 8 for 20 from 3 and only had 16 turnovers. Heck, 16 TO is an unbeleivable improvement when you compare that to having 32 TO's vs. Simon Kenton and 28 TO's vs. Cov. Scott. Thorobreds will do nothing but get better the rest of the way...

#23 for Harrison kept them in the game when it could have been a rout. Hit three straight from long-range. Jefferson for BC had his way down low, especially in the first half.

 

Physical game, several more fouls could have been called on both squads.
