Holmes comes in 3-1.

 

Moore comes in 4-2 (losses to Male by 2, Eastern by 3) and as the #6 team in the BGP state top 20.

 

Thoughts?

This is a real tough test for Holmes. Moore can match them athletically. Larry Miller, Moore's coach, was in the final two for Holmes job this past Spring. Moore by 10 or so.

This is going to be a tough game for the Dogs. Moore lost two players from last years' 25-6 squad and although those two guys averaged 36 ppg combined, Moore still returns a lot of talent, including 6'8 big man McWhorter.

 

My heart says Holmes, but head says Moore.

Holmes- 72

Moore- 68

 

Holmes up and down style and pressure could take the Moore big man out of his game. Hope I'm right.

Holmes will match Moore's speed and athleticism.

 

Holmes by 6

Holmes beating Moore would be a huge moral victory and a major statement game. I am going with Moore by 8 points in a highly competitive game.
