Athletes get yelled at all the time to the same degree as this encounter. This just happened to be caught on national TV. Much ado about nothing.

^^^Did you read where his boss said the coach didn't do justice to the University?

Once again it's all about the media blowing things up. Would his boss have said that if it wasn't caught on camera?

I got yelled at worse than that by a HS basketball coach during halftime for missing a 3 foot jumper as time expired in the first half. He was also the best coach I've ever played for and the one I respected the most.

Heck, Coach Cal yelled at his players last year worse than that and I'm sure we'll see it plenty of times this year as well.

Times have changed. When I played HS ball that was common place. Now if it happens it gets full blown coverage.

Because people today can't take criticism...

Who cares if somebody gets yelled at?

Geeze, the basketball coach at K-State practically punched a player and it didn't get this much media attention.

Bobby Knight and the guard Wisman, the head butt, the choke, the kick. There is yelling and then there's yelling. I asked earlier does anyone know what caused the outburst? There was about 6/7 minutes to the half.
