Allen can beat both. Allen has size, speed, and a very large Sr. class. I can say this, neither Bell or Boyle are as big up frnt as Allen. That's got to count for something.

 

I wouldn't know as I've not seen Allen County play this year but isn't Bell County pretty big up front? I thought they had a 6'6 lineman and a 6'4 lineman. I don't know about the rest. I know Boyle County doesn't have a big line but they are very strong and push you back. They have a great technique and I wouldn't choose an offensive line over Boyle's.

Lone Oak lost on the scoreboard last year and I still think they were the better team of the 2. Boyle had a nice RB and a solid line, but, imo, Lone Oak had a better passing game, bigger and better line, equal running game with a couple of others who could run whereas Boyle had 1 who carried the load. If they played 10 times, LO would have won 6 or 7, but, it's a one and done playoff and that's how it goes... So, to answer your question, absolutely not.

 

I respect your personal opinion but I'm going to agree to disagree. Lone Oak stunned Boyle County in the first half and the rest was history. Let's just leave it at that because that was last year. :thumb:

 

As for the thread. I do think that whoever would have won between Boyle and Bell over the last few years would have won the state championship. Again, this year I think the same thing. Sure, you can argue that the west has played the games close but in the end they have lost. So I can't argue with you, Guru.

I can't argue either. Regardless of the score of the last two state title games the last two 4A State Champs play on Friday in the State Semis.

I've not seen Bell or Boyle but I've see Allen Co. Scottsville and some of the better western ky teams including Bowling Green. Allen Co. has a very nice team with good size upfront and some speed and talent in the backfield. I sure wouldn't overlook ACS as a possible surprise to give Bell or Boyle a game in the state championship. Not sure if ACS might of beaten BG if they would have played one another this year.

 

Why even bring BG into this discussion since they DID NOT play one another. You are so obsessed with your dislike of BG....
