I agree. Not knocking Ludlow's coach at all, but based on #2 in the district and a good playoff showing...it's tough to not give WV's coach the nod.

With respect to Coach Hornsby, I agree with you guys.

6a/6 Michael Kremer passed for over 3000 yards this year. Lexington Hearld had Michael as one of the top 50 players in the state. He finished in the top 4 QB's all time in Northern Ky behind Jared Lorenzen and Gino Guidugli with playing 15 less games. . Chad is a great player but, Mike's are amazing.

Congratulations to Jesse Jensen you play with alot of heart. Best of luck to you in your baseball season.

Congrats to all winners. Thanks for the post guys.

Does anyone have a link to the all district teams??

Don't think anyone can argue with those selections. Spot on.

Really?

Ludlow finished third in the district in 2009, and fifth in the district in 2010. Their only district win was against a winless Dayton team.

Walton qualified for the playoffs, and earned the district's second seed. They won a playoff game, a game they hosted for the first time in school history. This, after finishing fifth in the district last season.

Totally unbiased here, but with the above as qualifiers, seems like the Walton coached should have gotten this recognition.

With no offense to Kremer, his ability is no where near the Birds Qb's. Now, his passing is equal to or better than Lawrence but Lawrence has the rushing stats and the decisive victory over CCHS. Kremer has virtually no rushing stats and threw roughly 30 more passes per game. Good overall decision IMO, Congrats to all deserving players and coaches.
