Bourbon County struggled mightily last year. But they return big man Alex McFarland and stud sophomore guard Chris Gillispie. Look for Bourbon County to win more games this year.

Alex McFarland was not the big mans name. Not for sure what it is but Alex graduated.

Gillespie is a very good guard. I've heard Bourbon picked up a couple of good athletes from cross town rival Paris.

Bourbon temporarily picked up a player from Paris this summer, but he was back at Paris a few weeks later. Bourbon has a good guard in Gillispie (who went to Paris originally), but I look for them to be the number 4 seed in the district once again. I hope they can have a better year, but I just don't see it. Their only hope is beating Paris and avoiding a first round district game against Clark.
