Ballard wins the coin toss, defers to the 2nd half and Mayfield gets the ball 1st... Ballard gets excellent coverage and the Cardinals take the ball at there own 23... On the 1st play from scrimmage, Guhy gets sacked on a rollout and loses 7 yds... On the 2nd play from scrimmage, Jonathan Jackson goes 84 yrds off the left side for a score, extra point good... On the ensuing kickoff, the Bombers fake a punt on 4th and 3 from there own 41, but, the Cards were ready for it and they lose a yard and give the Cards good field position at the Bomber 39 yd line... Jackson picks up 14 on 1st down on a pass from Guhy... Guhy picks up 10 on the next play, but, gets credit for 15 on a defensive hold penalty. Jackson scores on a 9 yd run on the next play, extra point good... Mayfield leads 14-0...still early in the 1st qtr...

Ballard picks up a 1st down on the next possession, but, then goes backward on a couple of sacks and a penalty and are forced to punt with a 4th and 27... Mayfield gets it 1st and 10 at there own 27 yd line and on the 1st play, Guhy hits Javarious Richardson for a 73 yd score, extra point is good... Mayfield 21 Ballard 0 with 3:47 to go in 1st qtr...

9:10 to go in 1st half, 28-7 Mayfield...

35 - 7 Mayfield

42 to 7 now with just over 2:00 to go in 1st half...

The Cardinals continue to roll

49 - 7 Halftime... Complete domination on both sides of the ball... Offense is really clicking on all cylinders...
