John Hardin/Boyle County 2011-2012

Featured Replies

I'm hearing its a done deal between the two schools. Is there any truth to this? If so this will be great for both programs.

Yes, this true. Boyle County will play at John Hardin in 2011. I think that is week 3.

This will be a great match up. Boyle is a great team!

So who's at home first?

Boyle really stepping up to the plate next year with games against Highlands in week 0 and John Hardin in week 3.

I believe Boyle will visit JH first.

I'm sure no inference was intended but it's not like Boyle hasn't been "stepping to the plate" in the past.

Rebels have had Johnson Central on their schedule for 2 years. (They've been just as successful as John Hardin, if not more so) Play crosstown rival Danville, Corbin (though AA) is 8-2, Christian County has had tons of talent these 2 seasons, and you add their District opponents. :thumb:

In the past they've scheduled schools who were at their "peaks" like Pikeville, Prestonsburg, HHS, Henry Clay, et al.

I might add that Boyle is doing this new schedule knowing they will be "down" by their standards for a couple of years. :thumb:

The first four games for Boyle County in 2011 looks like this - Highlands (Home - wk 0), Allen County - Scottsville (Home - wk 1), Danville (Away - wk 2), John Hardin (Away - wk 3). Still looking for a couple of games besides the district (Lexington Catholic, Marion County, Taylor County and Mercer County) to fill the schedule. Having a hard time filling the final games.

So is the new Bowl Game going to be be Week 1 or Week 3?

The bowl is scheduled for Week 1 and we are playing Allen County - Scottsville.
