Louisville Holy Cross 21 Kentucky Country Day 7

Featured Replies

Final. Holy Cross keeps rolling.

Wow -- give KCD a lot of credit, as I would have figured HC to win big in this one. Anybody got any details?

KCD was down 14-7 in middle of 4th. Holy Cross jumps an out route and intercepts it on the 1 yard line. They then go 99 yards on a run play to make it 21-7 with about 3 minutes to go.

Thanks for the details! Sounds like a great game! Strangely enough, that sounds eerily similar to how they finished off Bethlehem in a tight game.

If HC is as good as I think they are, it really speaks well of KCD's and Bethlehem's chances in the playoffs if the teams can get themselves healthy. Those teams may have been somewhat undervalued by the computer rankings. The Eagles got a much-needed bye this week, and KCD should get a good oppo to heal up this coming week before a tough season finale at Christian Academy.

Wasn't KCD averaging about 41 points a game? Nice D for the Cougars.

Good win by a very good team! Great teams seam to be able to pull out those hard fought close games! KDC must have matched up really well against LHC!! Sometimes this happens.
