Southwestern drove the length of the field and had 4 chances from the 6 yard line (in the last 40 seconds of the game) but couldn't score.

Thought Pulaski county would win this game by 3 tds, but a win is a win.

Sounds like a wild 4th quarter. Pulaski had the ball 1st and goal two different times in the 4th quarter with a chance to clinch the game but a false start on each drive forced field goal attempts that were missed. Southwestern had their chance on the last drive but it sounds like Ralph Letner for Pulaski made a great play to deflect a pass on 4th and goal. These rivalry games can get crazy--did Alex Abner for Pulaski really picky up a Southwestern player's play-calling arm band and put it on his wrist to draw an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the 4th quarter?

 

Congrats to the Maroons, if both teams play like they are capable they could be meeting again in a few weeks with the Regional Championship on the line.

Yes, he did. I could see how he thought it was his, being it was bright orange. It was a good game, we just came up a little short. I'm proud of our boys and how they fought. I guess people who said we would get killed are giving us a second thought.

Wow, not a very smart or classy move. Definately deserved 15 yards and could have cost them the game. Stuff like that tends to be remembered if the teams meet again.

Listened to this game off and on all night. What a game, looked like both teams were in control at different times. SW played the way a lot of people thought they could, a strong physical game. Pulaski seemed to be kept in control most of the night. Impressive night for Turpen moving the ball through the air tonight.

 

Pulaski has a pretty easy path to the regional finals. Southwestern has a little tougher path, but these two could easing meet again at PC for the Regional final.
